When you first got involved, were you told to generate your warm list and hit on them (family, friends, work colleagues), that's needy, and it's a certain way to get those people switched off and avoiding you. Sure if you're fortunate you may have a couple of people on that list who are excited and ready to do whatever it takes, but in all truthfulness, aren't there far more people on that list who switch off as soon as you start talking about your opportunity? Learn to avoid them before they start to avoid you and think of you as the guy or gal that they least want to be around.

It's important for you to take control of the situation if you want to stop chasing & start attracting prospects to you - make a conscious choice to spend time and energy on people who want to move ahead with you rather than those who need so much help to take a step or two that they drag you backwards constantly.
